Your first year behind the wheel comes with experiences no textbook can fully prepare you for.
CDL First is looking for new drivers who want to help us bring real first-year perspectives into the conversations we’re having about trucking.
You don’t need a large following or years of driving experience. You just need to be willing to participate, share what you’re learning, and help us hear from other drivers along the way.
What Does a CDL First Ambassador Do?
As an Ambassador, you may:
- Share your own experiences as a new CDL driver
- Ask other drivers questions and gather real-world perspectives
- Participate in CDL First discussions, polls, or interviews
- Help us identify topics new drivers need more information about
- Contribute ideas or content that may be featured across CDL First
You choose what you’re comfortable participating in. This isn’t a job, and there are no required hours.
What You Get
- Recognition as a CDL First Ambassador
- Opportunities to be featured on CDL First’s website and social platforms
- A chance to build your voice and professional presence within the trucking community
- Early opportunities to participate in CDL First projects, conversations, and future initiatives
- A direct role in helping CDL First create resources that reflect what new drivers are actually experiencing
CDL First’s Ambassador Program is currently a volunteer opportunity. As CDL First grows, our goal is to continue creating more opportunities for Ambassadors and new drivers.
Who we’re looking for:
We’re looking for U.S. CDL drivers with 0–12 months of experience, Class A or Class B, who remember what it’s like to be brand new and want to help make the road a little less confusing for the next driver.
You don’t need thousands of followers. You don’t need years of experience. You just need to be willing to show up, participate, and share honestly.
Short application • No large following required • U.S. drivers only
